It's winter in the northern emisphere, which should mean cold and bad weather. Well, not along the coasts of Mediterranean — at least not always. Moderately warm days, in the hours when the sun is not too low, are quite common and they are a perfect chance to enjoy the sea at its best. All you need is a long seashore to walk along, waiting for the sunset. There's just a few haze and one can enjoy the silhouette of the coastline and nearby islands, together with a few lonely fishing boats near the horizon.
This is my first time I can enjoy this scenario with a complete mirrorless-only equipment, including a long tele to capture landscape details; it's such a pleasure to walk along the foreshore with a lighter load on my shoulders...
And, at the end of the day, the sun drops into the sea just above the Island of Montecristo, which looks as it hovers over the horizon because of a sort of mirage.
