Thursday September 29 — Sts. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels
At the end of September the colours of foliage start turning into fall tones, but just slightly. What up to a few weeks ago was a rich patch of green hues now is interspersed with yellow spots; in other places greens tend to become brownish.
Changes become more and more apparent as you move to higher places, where many larches have already turned their green needles to brown.
