The cold weather of the beginning of the year was just an episode, followed by several weeks of relatively mild temperature that prevented snow from falling in the area where I live. But a business trip to Trento happened just in time to see the first major snow fall of the year. A good chance to practice about snowy landscapes (including accessory skills, such as driving with snow tires).
Indeed the week-end has not been as the weather forecast predicted: there were much more clouds than expected, with some short breaks of the sun, but mostly in the “wrong” part of the sky. Still they created some interesting conditions of light and shadow.
I sincerely hoped for a colourful end of the day, that together with the snow on the ground could have created interesting chromatic contrasts, but I wasn't lucky from this point of view. Just a few hints of red... better than nothing, I suppose.
