According to EXIF data and the GPS, all the photos published in this post have been created in just five minutes, shooting from a bend in the road towards the Col de Vars, at 2.000 meters in the Cottian Alps, where I walked around to find the good perspectives by just about fifteen meters. The place was incredibly photogenic thanks to a small snow storm, the first of the season — actually, the real storm was at a close range, up in the surrounding mountains, and just a fine snow dust was coming down to the road. Among many larches, a few beautiful rowan trees were standing out, some in strange shapes modelled by the prevailing wind, with their vivid red berries popping out of the surrounding wonderful palette of pastel tones.
